These days, the world is drowning in pretty but empty content. Our job isn’t to add to the noise. It’s to create a signal—work so resonant and real it cuts through everything else. We build stories that forge a genuine connection, because in the end, that's the only thing that moves the needle.
origins.
We started Tenet because we had to. We were tired of seeing great ideas die in committee. Tired of the phrase "good enough." So we built the place we always wanted to work at: a studio that puts the story first, obsesses over the craft, and has zero tolerance for nonsense. Our Kentucky roots keep us honest, and our global ambition keeps us sharp.
The Barn
Our workshop was built to last. In the 1860s, a German immigrant laid its stone foundation and left his maker's mark—a double heart and cross—as a promise of quality. That mark still catches the light on the weathered oak walls every evening. It’s a constant reminder of our own promise: to build stories with the same integrity, obsession, and timeless craft. This barn wasn't just where we set up shop; it's where we continue a legacy.

Our Workshop
We believe every project deserves a dream team. Instead of a fixed staff, we operate with a lean core and build a bespoke team of elite, specialized artists for every job. This model allows us to be incredibly agile and ensures we always have the perfect expert for the task at hand—whether it’s a world-class character rigger, a master of fire simulations, or a brilliant 2D animator. It’s a modern, efficient approach that puts our clients' budget directly on the screen, not into overhead.
Jake Thomas
With over 15 years in the trenches of animation and storytelling, I founded Tenet on a simple belief: that great work requires focus and an obsession with the craft. I direct every project from start to finish, acting as the primary creative partner for our clients. My job is to protect the story, guide the artists, hop on the box when needed and ensure everything we deliver meets an uncompromising standard of quality.
